Short Bio
Jorai Laurenceo is an AI governance researcher from Hamilton, Bermuda, and the Founder & Executive Director of Laurenceo, an AI governance think tank based in Bermuda that he founded in 2026. His work focuses on how organisations can show that their AI systems meet the expectations of the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) and the Personal Information Protection Act 2016 (PIPA). He wrote Laurenceo's public response to the BMA's consultation on responsible AI and publishes Laurenceo Intelligence, a daily sourced AI briefing. He is studying for a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Technology Management at Ontario Tech University. More on the About page and in his résumé.
